Our Story
NurtureBio started with a problem we could not solve as parents.
When my wife breastfed our children, we saw how breast milk’s complex biology shaped their gut and immune system. But when we introduced formula, those benefits faded. One of our children developed chronic ear infections, followed by rounds of antibiotics that led to persistent constipation, discomfort, and inflammation.
We tried every probiotic and fiber supplement we could find. None of them worked, because none addressed the core issue: infants need the right beneficial bacteria and the specific prebiotics in breast milk that help those bacteria thrive.
Most products on the market focused on standalone probiotics or generic prebiotics. They missed what makes breast milk so powerful: a targeted combination of human milk oligosaccharides (HMOs) and infant targeted bacteria working together to shape the early microbiome. We started NurtureBio to build what did not exist for our own family—science-driven, breast milk inspired synbiotics designed specifically for babies.
