Our Story
We’re Stuart and Christina, husband and wife, parents, and the co-founders of NurtureBio. Our story started at home, with a problem we couldn’t solve for our own family.
As we navigated breastfeeding and formula feeding with our children, we found ourselves searching for answers about their digestive health. One of our children experienced recurring ear infections and rounds of antibiotics, alongside persistent constipation and discomfort. Like so many parents, we wanted to help but felt frustrated by the options available.
We tried probiotics and fiber supplements, but we weren’t finding what we were looking for. Our search led us to the science of the early-life gut microbiome and the relationship between human milk oligosaccharides (HMOs), the prebiotics found in breast milk, and beneficial bacteria.
Together, we started NurtureBio to bring that inspiration into a simple daily routine for families. We’re building breast milk inspired synbiotics with a commitment to thoughtful ingredients, scientific research, and the everyday realities of parenting.
What began as a search for our own children became a mission we share: to give parents clear information and thoughtfully designed options as they care for their little ones.
