Angela McPhillips, DNP, RN is a registered nurse, doctor of nursing practice, and freelance health writer with more than 15 years of experience in pediatric and population health nursing. She has a special interest in child and family wellness, including infant feeding and early development.

A certified breastfeeding specialist and former pediatric emergency and school nurse, Angela draws on both clinical expertise and real-world parenting experience to create clear, supportive, and evidence-based content for families. As a mom of two, she understands the everyday questions parents face and is passionate about translating science into practical guidance that helps families make confident choices for their children’s health.

Angela is a Chicago native who now lives in Southwest Florida with her husband and two young children.
