Meredith Grace Merkley, DO, FAAP

Meredith Grace Merkley, DO, FAAP, is a licensed, board-certified pediatrician with over a decade of work in community health. She currently practices at Phoenix Children's, one of the top-ranked pediatric hospitals in the United States, where she serves children and families through the hospital's Homeless Youth Outreach Team.
Previously, she worked in primary care clinics and school-based health care, and co-founded a health clinic for young adults at a drop-in center in Ohio, where she also participated in advocacy work for unstably housed youth in her community. Her advocacy work was part of the curriculum for the Nationwide Children's residency program, where she lectured for the residents.
Outside of her medical career, Dr. Merkley has co-founded Run Wild Trail Camp, a nonprofit organization that helped expand access to the outdoors.
She is invested in her community and promotes whole-person health for individuals and families.
Meredith feels most comforted when she is able to get outside and run on the trails near her house or when she is baking bagels early in the morning.
